As one of our first large commercial ducting manufacture and installation projects, the Toi Ohomai Mass 2 project proved to be a successful project on which industrial Sheetmetals could build our installation service with confidence. The building is a three story multi use learning centre at the BOP polytechnic campus in Tauranga. Our scope of works included: The manufacture and installation of all HVAC ductwork. The installation of the mechanical plant, including, air handling units, fan coil units, fan, attenuators, electric heaters, variable air volume units, fume extraction units and classroom laboratory ventilation. A component of this project was to provide the ducted HVAC services to the high specification, sound free recording studios. For this Industrial Sheetmetals manufactured and installed all of the high specification acoustic ductwork, including the acoustic treatment of the wall and ceiling penetrations feeding the studios.
